let's move together

Hi, I’m Dana. A very proud Yoga teacher and practitioner. I’m excited you’ve made it here and looking forward to moving with you!

A bit about me...

I love Yoga, and I am planning to study it for the rest of my life. In Sanskrit, the word yoga (योग) comes from the root yuj (युज्), which translates "to unite". In the context of the practice, it’s a system of physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines aimed at achieving union between the Self and universal consciousness. Yoga encompasses postures, breath and philosophy.

Yoga can be a strenuous sequence with twists and binds, a soft flow with aromatics of palo santo, being present enough to notice the texture of the leaves, and pausing for a breath before reacting. Yoga is a way of being.

My practice helps me reset, recharge, and remember how to play.

Yoga has given me a rich sense of existence—physically, mentally, and spiritually. It’s connected me to community, deepened my relationship with nature, and given me access to my own spirituality. It’s my favorite tool when I need to quiet the noise of the world and tune into my intuition—or when I simply want to find my inner child, go upside down, or feed my curiosity by trying a new class, teacher, or shape.

In my asana classes, I guide students through playful yet challenging transitions, focusing on strength, alignment, pranayama, and the classics: twists, folds, bends, binds, and inversions. I believe yoga is for every body, and that we can all benefit from its ancient teachings.

I’m constantly humbled and honored by the opportunity to share this practice and guide others along their own path.
